Tim's Twelve Days before Christmas Day 11

Tim’s Twelve Days before Christmas

Day 11

Tim was on his bed petting his dog when the doorbell rang. He had already eaten breakfast and everyone else was still eating. He sat up and walked out of his room. “I will get it” Tim yelled. He dashed to the door and opened it. There at the door was his best friend Gregory and his parents.

Gregory was an only child and had been Tim’s best friend since he was very little. They had gone through school together and were much alike. Tim didn’t know that Gregory was coming because all his Mom said was “We are having company tomorrow so clean the house.”

Gregory and Tim went up to Tim’s room while the parents went into the dining room to talk. Bouncer jumped off the bed and started wagging his tail when Gregory walked in. Bouncer loved company and he especially like Gregory.

Tim and Gregory got all of the Legos out and started building a giant town. They had all types of buildings they wanted to make. Malls, stores, restaurants, Walmart, houses, skyscrapers and many more buildings. By lunch time they had a giant town that covered the whole floor of Tim’s room.

Natasha came into Tim’s room and almost stepped on one of the skyscrapers. “Hey guys it’s time for lunch.” Gregory stood up and looked at Natasha. “What is for lunch?” Natasha looked at Gregory mischievously. “Broccoli that’s all there is.” Gregory hated broccoli and jumped whenever its name was used.

“Broccoli” Gregory said with disgust. “Don’t expect me to be there for lunch.” Natasha and Tim burst out laughing. “Gregory stop making that funny face. I was just joking.” Gregory’s face changed instantly. “Then what is for lunch?”

“Lunch is jalapeno popper chicken!” Gregory and Tim leapt from where they were and dashed towards the dining room. Gregory came in first place, Tim in 2nd and Natasha in 3rd.

The two families ate the whole dish. It was very good. Gregory leaned back in his chair with his hands on his stomach. “That tasted better then candy.” Tim looked at Gregory confused. “I thought you didn’t like candy.” Gregory groaned. “Yes I don’t like candy but most people do so there for it was very good.”

Tim and Gregory went back up to Tim’s room while Natasha and the parents stayed in the dining room and cleaned up lunch. When Tim and Gregory reached Tim’s room they stopped and carefully opened the door. They made their way around the Legos back to their spots. “I am ready to battle” Tim exclaimed. “I am ready to, but the town isn’t ready. When we ran to lunch we made a trail of destruction.” Tim rubbed his head. “Well you go get your Lego men while I fix it up.”

Gregory got up and slowly made his way to this parent’s car. He opened the door and grabbed a bag of Lego men. Gregory and Tim played with Legos often so they always took their Legos when they were going to meet each other somewhere. He made his way back into Tim’s room and started placing his men on one of the skyscrapers.

Tim had the town fixed and was placing his men on the other skyscraper. They soon finished setting up and started using Lego grenades and pretended like they were actually fighting each other. The town was soon (utterly) destroyed and they each only had one man left. They were both in the bottom story of one of the skyscrapers. Gregory won and the loser had to run down and get a snack for them both.

Tim brought up root beer floats. They ate them while they rebuilt the town. They did another game but Gregory won again. The loser had to take down the dirty dishes and bring up supper. Tim took the dishes to the sink and asked his mom if he could take supper up. His mom laughed. “No you can’t. You will get your bedroom all dirty and then you’ll have to clean it.

They had to eat downstairs so they ate quickly and ran back up to the room without saying a word. They didn’t play another round, They just cleaned it all up. Gregory had to leave once they were done so they took their time. After Gregory left Tim walked into his room and changed into his pajamas.

He was walking to his bed when he tripped on a Lego, He landed on the ground and all went black.

There was only 1 more day before Christmas.
